Goldman brings almost 40 years of experience in global transportation to the new shippers association
February 27, 2023 – New York, NY – Greenabl Shippers Association, the logistics industry’s first cooperative procurement group committed to decarbonization, announced today that transportation veteran George Goldman will lead the new association as executive chairman.

Goldman most recently served as president of ZIM American Integrated Shipping Services, the North American division of the global shipping company. In this role, he supported many environmental initiatives including the introduction of alternative and dual-fuel vessels to the company’s fleet. Before ZIM, Goldman held increasing leadership roles over a 25-year span at APL, now a part of CMA CGM, including multiple international posts in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore.
